Adrian Baldwin’s Barnacle Brat is a great read. To my mind, a cross between "Psychoville" and "Fight Club", this dark comedy introduces Leon, a Manchester lad who has travelled over the borderline of insanity after failing to come to terms with a car accident involving his parents in which he was driving.

An aspiring short-story author, determined to write his first book, Leon struggles back to reality, gets a Wales fixation and really, really needs to get laid. The parallels with the author’s life are there to be drawn – I suspect Barnacle Brat is at least semi-autobiographical.

I know what you’re thinking! Another Adrian Baldwin? But he’s not me; honestly, I haven’t just written my own book review. Seriously, I am a different Adrian Baldwin - and not some split personality either. Look, just leave me alone – read the book for yourself and see what I/we/him is/are talking about. Bloody hell this is complicated!
